NYX lavender concealer

Hey guys! Been really busy the the couple of weeks looking after my sister who has just had an operation, our parents are on holiday and we have two dogs so I haven't had a moment to blog! Luckily for me this morning I received this in the post!
I've been looking for a light concealer that don't look orange for a while, when I came across this I was so excited to try it!
The next photos are of my skin before applying and then the areas I like to apply concealer due to redness and spots
And then blended with a beauty blender
This looks like quite a lot but I like to use it as a highlighter base, and I'm only using BB cream at the moment instead of foundation due to it being summer and I don't like having a heavy feeling in my skin in the heat. The lavender tones in the  products is for 'sallow skin' which means yellow tones, but I find it helps with red patchyness in my skin due to it being so pale. The converge is a good even coverage, not patch or translusent (deleting the purpose really of a concealer when it's thin) so far I am feeling good about the products, I do realis that it is very light before I put the rest of my make up on but this works to an advantage. After this I continue the rest of my make up with these products (just quick simple make up as in not going out today)
So I have my BB cream in light/medium, pro base translucent power by MUA, bronzer my Rimmel, blush by MAC but I can't remember what shade sorry, highlighter in golden by Makeup Revolution, Anastasia Beverlyhills dipbrow  pomade in medium brown, maybeline colour 24 in Taupe, L'Oreal volume million lashes mascara, urban decay 24hr pencil in Stag, Mac lipstick in Faux and a Rimmel eye pencil in dark brown to line my lips and this is the outcome!
Please ignore my eyebrows as they has due a thread ! But in quite happy with this concealer, considering I only have BB cream (basically a tinted moisturiser so diary thin) on top and a translucency powder it has a good converge and you can't see I clearly have concealer in which my last ones did look like when I put them on. I think I will buy the green version on the concealer as that one is spacificly for redness, both however are supposedly very good to lighten your other concealer if you have bought it in a shade to dark!

Dark brown to blonde hair! How I got my new look

So I haven't posted recently, I've been holding off to write a post about the stages of my hair!
Thought this process these are the products I've used.
I had decided that I wanted blonde hair with dark roots as I have dark eyebrows and this is the only way I could have blonde hair without looking washed out. I have been to the hair dresses 3 months before doing a diy jobs.
My hairdresser was really nice but this wasn't quite what I wanted, there is to much dark brown  and a section of my hair at the top where there is a pattern  was died dark brown (no blonde/ginger tips) this proved difficult later on to remove. My sister had been doing my hair before I went to the hair dresser and this is how blonde she managed to get it
As you can see not much has been lightened from this photo to the one after the hair dresser. Before I was due to go back and have my hair lighten more I decided it was to much money to waste when I won't have done what I want  and asked my sister to do it for me. The next photos are my sister applying the L'Oreal Feria lighting hair dye
As you can see this hair dye lifts hair amazingly, I used two boxes due to having such thick hair and left it on for 45 minutes. Due to it being night I wasn't able to get a photo showing that although it is extremely light it's brassy with a large section of dark ginger where the section of dark brown hair due had been put at the hair dressers. The next morning I put a ash blonde due on my hair as ash defuses ginger tones, however this was the result of it.
I was so gutted it was ginger, so two days later we used another box of lightened and re lightened it. There was still a lot of ginger, it wasn't lifting well and silver shampoo was only doing to much , so I thought is I dye my roots dark and leave to blonde for a while it will lift when it's repaird ( my hair surprisingly has very little dam age done to it) so I used a nice and easy light brown hair dye in my hair and this was the result.
No idea how this has happened as I left the brown in for longer than recommended so it soaked in well but this was just sheer ginger! By this point I was about to give up, and I see a girl posting on Instagram that she dyed her silver hair with a diluted black hair dye which have me the idea of using a green toned brown hair dye and dyluiting it and putting it over my blonde hair to make it a dirty blonde colour. I need to stress is you do this try and use a green based brown (no red or purple shine to it or named after and when you mix it up it goes a green/brown colour before turning dark) as this won't look ginger when diluted as it does not have a red time in it.
This is my end result, my sister has done my hair perfectly! Even my hairdresser couldn't make it look this blended and natural! In so happy with this colour and will be keeping it for a good while!

Lush lipstick Reveiw !

So for my birthday my boyfriend got my a little lipstick from lush!
Charm is a very light bubble gum shade of pink, very sweet and girly looking which is quite differnt to my normal look of browns and purple toned lipstick. I don't tend to go for such light pinks due to having a very pale scottish skin tone
This is how the product looks on my lips, because it's such a light shade it's quite translusent. The product has quite an oily base so i don't like building this up because I feel like it just slides of, so insted I've been using it to tone down darker lipsticks to make the more skintones/nude.
Here is an example;
This is just an MUA velvet lipstick on my lips
And here is it with Charm on top;
The good thing about the oil base means it blends in well with the velvet lipsticks by MUA, these lipsticks don't always take well to other products due to them being so matte and drying but the oil works well with them.
So although this shade on its own doesn't work to well On my lips, I love using it as a way to tone down other shades! And it keeps my lips moist when using matte lipsticks!
It was a good buy from the boyfriend this time!

Re-worked mom jeans!

So I have barely been posting recently due to having so much uni course work to hand in but now I've finished and have 5 months of summer I will be posting much more!
So today's blog is on my re-worked mom jeans!
I bough a pair of men's stright leg jeans from ebay for £5.80 and they are brand new! I decided to go for men's jeans because they have the perfect baggyness compared to womens strigh leged. Here is the original pair
I'm 5,9 so I got jeans that were a 34" in length so that I could roll them up properly. I love ripped jeans and they are in fashion just now so that was the look I wanted to aim for.
I can't stress enough how time consuming this can be so if you plan to do it give yourself a few hours out of your day to do this :)
Here is my end result
I'm so chuffed with these jeans! They are the only non skinny jeans I have and I think I will be wearing them a lot over the aping and summer season!

Easy way to instantly take tan off!

So my sister (Happy Go Hols) told me that using Clearasil Daily Clear pads is a really easy and quick way to get tan off, so I though I'd test this out and show you the results:)
I have quite sensitive skin, I have a thing that is like hive (could be hives I couldn't really understand my Dr aha) so simple scrubing leaves read marks for ageys especially in areas like my arms and chest so It normally takes me a good few scrubs to properly get tan off.
So here is the product I am testing, my sister bought this out the 99P shop! We have one near buy that has really well known good quality products in it all for 99P!
These pads are extreamly moist and smell so fresh and fruity!
Here is my arm before with very bad patchy tan!
Horrible I know! So I used one pad and  with in a Minute of wiping my arm, this was the result!
This is an amazing reat! My skin was slightly red in the elbow end because the pads exfoliate but that quickly went away. The moistness is what mainly help remove the tan, this is what's pad looked it after cleaning my arms
It looks like I'm really dirty but I sware I'm not aha! Over all I think this is brilliant! this is what I wi use from now one of remove patchy tan, best idea I've came across so far , thanks sis!

Totalement Bleuets Face Mask Reveiw

This week I needed my skin to be extra nice as I had an event and dinner to go to so I thought I would try this face mask outits French and you can get these from most shops like superdrug or supermarkets that sell skincare items.  So this is how the mask looked when o out it on, kinda similar to the photo shown
It recommended 5-10 mins for this mask, I expected it to either go hard or become a peel off texture however it stayed slightly moistest. By 5 mins I was having to wash it off because o could feel my face becoming sensitive, as I was washing my face I noticed red sports had appeared on my forehead and my nose which is u normal for my nose. These spots where also really sore. I followed up this by using facial to not and my lush moisturiser (see previous post for this Reveiw)
In future I won't be using this product as my skin it just to sensitive for it.😔

Lush Celestial Facial Moisturiser

So right now I'm having a break from writing assignments and I though I'd spend it wisely by reviewing my moisturiser☺️
I got this as a present for my birthday recently, as everybody know I LOVE lush!
It's your typical lush packaging, this moisturiser is for sensitive skin and contains; vanilla water, almond oil, almond milk, glycierine, fair trade organic cocoa butter, fresh dove orchid extract, cetearyl alcohol, stearic acid and anise alcohol.
So you can see it s typical white thick cream and as you can guess it smells like almonds. The texture of this is like a very light scrub that smooths in to your skin.
Although this is more sensitive skin I like to only put a small amount of as it is quite heavy but it spreads very well. The overall  result of this is that it works really well, my skin feels nice and fresh after using this and doesn't break out :)
